Chrysocolla       

Color is a unique green-blue but can vary widely from more blue to more green, often in the same specimen.
Growth Habits include mostly massive forms that can be crusts, stalactites and botryoidal. Also as inclusions in other minerals such as quartz.
Hardness is variable from 2 to 4.
Associated Minerals are quartz, limonite, azurite, malachite, cuprite and other secondary copper minerals
may have an opal like appearance
Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Pennsylvania, USA; Israel; Zaire and England

Intense blue colors of chrysocolla and greens of malachite create a great contrast against the brown colors of the  ironstone matrix. White quartz geodes.
