| Labradorite is a feldspar in the family of silicates, and a cousin of moonstone. It was named for its original source in Labrador, Canada but large deposits have been found in Madagascar, and Africa. There is also a source in Finland where it is called spectrolite. Labradorite is a mystical stone that is said to enhance the clarity of dreams. |
